Privacy Policy

Applies to the iPhone app "Flashlight Pure" (com.pur.taschenlampe)

1. Principle

Flashlight Pure does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app works entirely offline and needs no sign-up, no user account and no email address.

2. No data collection

The app collects none of the following:

• No personal data (name, email, phone number)
• No location data
• No device identifiers and no advertising identifier (IDFA)
• No usage statistics or analytics
• No crash reports to third-party servers

That is why the App Store privacy section shows Data Not Collected.

3. No tracking SDKs

The app contains no tracking or analytics libraries. In particular no:

• Google Analytics or Firebase
• Facebook SDK
• Advertising SDKs or ad networks
• Crash reporters such as Crashlytics or Sentry

App Tracking Transparency does not apply: nothing is tracked across apps or websites, so no such prompt appears.

4. Permissions

The app requests no permission at all. No system dialog appears.

• The LED is switched through AVCaptureDevice as a torch. iOS does not require camera access for that, and no photo or video is ever captured.
• No access to location, contacts, photos, microphone, Bluetooth or the local network.
• No background execution, no notifications.

5. Buying the Pro version

The purchase runs through Apple StoreKit and is handled entirely by Apple. We receive:

• An anonymous confirmation that a purchase happened
• No payment details
• No names and no email addresses

6. Local storage

Settings such as preferred brightness or theme live on the device in UserDefaults only. The state of the light is additionally kept in an app group (group.com.pur.taschenlampe) so the widget and the Control Center toggle can read it. None of this leaves the device and none of it is synced through iCloud.

7. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data, from children or adults.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Since the app collects no data, substantial changes are not expected.
